But Battlefield 6 is hoping to alter that.

This is the latest entry in a long-running military shooter series commonly positioned as a grittier alternative to Call of Duty.

"We probably couldn't build and design the latest entry absent the learnings we had in the last release," she explains to the press.

A key those takeaways was to engage the community involved early, and the developers initiated closed fan playtests in recent months.

Another missing ingredient from Battlefield 2042 was a single-player campaign, which has been restored this time around.

The UK studio creative lead Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the one in charge of "making sure those missions are as fun and engaging as can be for the audience."

Regardless of allegations that the scale of the title had challenged the various teams working together globally to develop the game, he is upbeat about the process.

"Collaborating with diverse backgrounds, distinct experiences, it's a truly interesting environment to be part of on a regular basis," he shares.

"The complete approach has been something new but also really thrilling because we are working with individuals from all over the world."

Concerning the expectation on the crew, the director states: "There is demand but also it's thrilling.

"It's a big venture. It's arguably the largest that most of us have ever worked on."

New Artist Brings Innovative View

This is definitely true of at least one team member, VFX specialist Vlad.

The recent hire produces the atmospheric effects that define the tone, tone, and focus of the solo experience.

Vlad undertook an work placement at the developer before obtaining a position at the company, and presently is employed with reduced hours while concluding his digital arts degree at his school.

Vlad explains he's a long-time fan of the games, and remembers playing the earlier title of the line at a friend's house when he was a child.
